I have uploaded a recording of one of a fantastic sounding piece. It is a viola quartet called Traveling Music by Michael Kimber. All three movements are in the same recording.
I also changed the way the media section is organized. It is now two pages instead of one.

Every Monday will now be Music Monday! That will be the day that I upload new music. This new change will make it easier for you to know when to check in for new changes, and I can keep on a schedule. This upcoming Monday you will be able to download the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No.1 for violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
![]() The Star-Spangled Banner is now available for download! Next weeks addition will be the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite no.1. There is a new tutorial on posture and bow hold. This is meant for beginning students, but especially for parents to be able to see what their son/daughter should be doing.
I will be focusing most of my time to arranging music, but please let me know if any future tutorials you may like. Old Joe Clark, and Battle Hymn of the Republic is now available for download!
Two new songs will be added to the site within the next week. Old Joe Clark will be under the "Fiddle tunes" section, and The Battle Hymn of the Republic will be the first song in the "Patriotic Music" section.
I have changed the Dexterity Exercises to Dexterity Etudes. New Dexterity Exercises are available for download. They are for violin, and viola. These etudes are 3 pages, and are based on the Schradieck School of Violin Techniques.
As always they are free to download, and should be downloaded by all of my private students. Rarely do I post personal news on here, but my fiancé, April Bodine, and I just published our wedding website at ShawnAndApril.Weebly.com. The Wedding will be in June of 2014.
Take a look! A new fiddle tune (Boil 'em Cabbage Down) with a ton of variations is now available for download. I have made the book available for download, but at the moment there are only five tunes. Please let me know if there are any specific updates you would like next!
Just in time for Valentine's Day! The Three Schumann Romances Op. 94. are now available for download. These are originally for Oboe, and have been arranged for violin, viola, cello, and double bass while staying int the original key. I may write up the piano accompaniment in the future so stay tuned.
